SEM-PLS Analysis of Factors Affecting the Effectiveness of English Course Online Learning during Covid-19 Pandemic

Online learning is an alternative approach for continuing the process while COVID-19 epidemic underway. This research was undertaken to find out factors affecting effectiveness of English course online at Banyuwangi State Polytechnic during Covid19 Pandemic. The studied included quality media, students, modules/materials, methods, and tutors/trainers. number respondents 259 students who were taken by using a purposive random sampling. instruments used in this questionnaire interview delivered online. Partial Least Square (PLS) examine study model, which aided Smart PLS software. As results study, overall p-value smaller than 0.05, meaning that all variables have positive influence on learning. highest from variable lowest tutors. findings implicate deliver successful course, teachers must be able create new experience atmosphere each meeting through use diversified real resources, appropriate methods order pique students' interest motivate them participate more actively
